Volunteers of America Southwest offers different services in different geographical areas in Southern California and Arizona. Our Behavioral Health Services are located in San Diego supported by The Resource Center. These locations are focused on recovery and outpatient services for substance users.

In Imperial County (El Centro) and San Bernardino County, VOASW has established the Ballington Academy for the Arts & Sciences charter schools. These schools are STEAM focused, promoting a project-based approach to the areas of science, tech, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Ballington Academy is actively enrolling students TK-5th grade in El Centro and TK-6th grade in San Bernardino.

Volunteers of America Southwest also maintains adult residential care and housing in El Cajon and Spring Valley, CA. Transitional veteran housing is available in El Cajon, CA. A senior housing community is available at the Cambridge Gardens Apartment Community in Riverside, CA. Family housing is offered at the Palomar Apartments in Chula Vista, CA.
